When to Apply
At Puddle Jumpers Workshop, we offer rolling admissions year-round. That means you can apply today and enroll ASAP if we have space! If we are currently fully enrolled, we invite families from our waitlist as spots open up with an eye toward keeping a diverse and balanced classroom.
We recommend starting the process when your child is 14–23 months old. Most children join us between 18 months and 2 years of age.
Admissions Process
1 . Schedule an Info Call
Click 'Enroll Now' on the home page or reach out through the contact page. We'll schedule a quick chat with one of our parent members! We’ll walk you through how our co-op works, answer questions, and make sure it feels like the right fit for your family.
2 . Apply
Submit your online application and $45 processing fee (or request a fee waiver). Review our Member Responsibilities (below) to make sure our co-op model works for you.
3 . Trial Visits
Once your child is at least 16 months, join us for two visits:
-
A morning trial visit (9:00–12:30). You’ll meet our teacher, connect with parents, and jump into playtime to see what co-op life is like.
-
A training shift for working parents to learn shift responsibilities and practice basic routines.
4 . Welcome Aboard
If it’s a good fit and a spot is available, we’ll offer you a place right away. To confirm, you’ll submit a deposit and your first month’s tuition. If we’re full, we’ll keep you on the waitlist and notify you as soon as a spot opens.

Member Responsibilities
At Puddle Jumpers, the parents are wholly responsible for running the organization, which includes financial, policy, legal, staff management, enrollment responsibilities, as well as the ongoing management of day-to-day operations in the classroom. Each member family is required to take on a number of roles to ensure we provide the best possible care for us all to thrive.
Although cooperative childcare offers great rewards, the work involved in running a thriving coop is substantial. We encourage prospective families to reflect carefully on the time and energy commitment before applying.
